Fundraising through Hand-CraftedCreations ~ HOPE LOVE CURE

Click to see current Fundraising Item .

Being able to give is an honor!  The Lord blesses us with much therefore it's a wonderful thing to be able to give with open hands.   This is a repost of the announcement that was posted at Victoria Joanne's Blissful Creation blog.   I urge all who are touched by cancer or compelled to be involved to join the blogger family here at HCC and blog about your fundraisers for all to follow.
Sometimes the timing on things can be uncanny.   A couple days ago I recieved an email from my sister explaining how her daughter (my niece) was going to be running a full marathon For the benefit of raising money.   The Fundraiser is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.  They are dedicated to raising money for research in the area of Blood Cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.

I wasn't sure how I would donate. I thought I'd make it just a one time personal donation to her page... But, then last night i was chatting with one of my clients.   She explained to me about how she wanted her future stepdaughter Ashlee to be able to get well so she could be in her wedding.   Come to find out that Ashlee who is only 9 years old, JUST got diagnosed within the last day or so with Leukemia.     My eyes became wet, I knew right then and there that I was going to do more than a one time single donation.   I felt compelled to do more.   One of my son's is 9... That's so young!   This poor little girl is in the hospital right now.  I Dedicate this Fundraising campaign to Ashlee and ALL the Little ones that this horrible blood disease effects.

If you know a family who is touched by one of these blood diseases please tell them about my fundraising.  I'd like to dedicate and feature their story here at this blog, and/or on my HCC Blog  if they would want to be featured.

Angela will be running in the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco on October 17th 2010.   Her and all the other members of her LLS Team in Training will be raising funds and running for a cure!  There is only about 5 1/2 Months until this event takes place.   During this time I am dedicated to donating a portion of my sales.  I certainly can NOT run a marathon, but I can make beautiful Hand-Crafted Creations.   So this is what I WILL DO to give my part.

Every Other week  I will post a new custom made fund raiser item. (IE - custom dress tag, Monogrammed Bouquet sashmonogrammed garter, or monogrammed ring pillow etc...)   What ever item it happens to be.. any orders that come in for it at that time will have 50%  (FIFTY PERCENT) of the Price donated to my nieces page by me!

So please book mark This blog,  the Blissful Creation blog,  and Angela's Fundraising pages.  Check back on the latest fundraiser item and see the progress that Ang's Fundraiser page is making.   With help from you and I, the fundraiser can be a HUGE success
And of course you are welcome to give even more on your own directly to her page.   (Please let her know that her aunt sent you so she knows it was me who told you)
