PRINCESS DOODLE BEANS - punk/goth tutus for the daring girl who want's to be different.

PrincessDoodleBeans
I found out about Princess Doodle Beans a little while ago.  The owner and artist, Kristin Frank joined  Club.wedding-luv  and offered a cute flowergirl headband give-away at her Wedding-luv blog. She makes wonderful tutus for little ladies.  I saw her cutesy cutesy creations that were shown off at her wedding-luv page http://club.wedding-luv.com/profile/KristinFrank  and loved them.  But then later when I went to check out the rest of her creations at her shop and shown off in her flicker photos I saw a different side of the Princess!  A trashy and punk style princess was being unveiled.
I loved it!!  That's when I knew I needed to tell everyone about Kristin's unique creations.   Tutus for little princesses are cute - but tutus for stylin' girls and ladies of all ages is just plain fun and unique.  I wanted to share the PrincessDoodleBeans boutique with all the gals out there in blogland who walk by the beat of their own drum.   It's hard to find cool and unique clothing that fits the punk style.  Guess that's why so many people end up making their own clothes.
But not everyone is really crafty, talented or handy!   Sometimes we end up feeling trapped - and have to buy what's offered at the malls... Well don't feel trapped by what the retail stores offer you anymore.  Cause shopping at places like PrincessDoodleBean Boutique and all custom clothing artisans make it possible for those of us who aren't so talented to still have fun and crazy clothes to adorn ourselves with.
Love the pink/black combo.   That would look great with my hair  LOL  :)
Kristin lives in the tiny town of Northport, Michigan right at the top of the Leelanau Peninsula. It's a small town that's nestled between the beauty of Grand Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan in the middle of the country, surrounded by cherry orchards.  Sounds like a place I'd love to visit!   She has the support of many kind people in her sweet small town.  She gets her inspiration from her three daughters.  This is where she got her boutique name from  :)
Kristin started making the tutus for her children.   They wanted to be fairy princesses for halloween.   They came out so cute that she just continued to make more.   As people noticed them - they started asking and she made more... (even one for herself  -  her  "guilty pleasures" tutu.   Sounds like fun to me  ;)   When she began selling the little girl tutus on ETSY it was great - but then she tried her hand at the adult tutus -  since she liked it, she figured maybe other gals out there would too.  Well these adult tutus took off and are now her big ticket item!   (That doesn't surprise me - after all we all want something fun and unique).   What ever isn't out there in mass - gets gobbled up by the people who find the hidden treasures.   That's how it is with custom made and handmade items.  They are like hidden treasures that are waiting to be found.
Well I guess that's about it for now... but I will be revisiting the PDB boutique in the future to tell everyone about her adorable baby and little princess creations.
 bye bye for now :)
