Raycious - Unique Japanese culture inspired sachets & collectables

RAYCIOUS

Okay - I must admit when I first came across this website I had NO idea what I was looking at.   I didn't understand what these little colorful creations were.  So I starting researching... I delved in deeper and started reading the descriptions for them.  I LOVE it. Rie Nakajima The Japanese artist who currently lives in Australia has some great works of art.  It is a Japanese art craft called SAIKUMONO.  It's a very delicate hand sewn craft from times gone past. The Japanese women used the art of SAIKUMONO to express the beauty of nature though out the four seasons.

All these little creations are so cute and colorful and they have a purpose too.   They have openings in them either in the front back or bottom where you can add scents or make them hiding places for your favorite jewelry or even hide some candy in there for when you need a "fix" !  They are great.  Normally I only post up to about 1 to 3 images per blog feature but I just had to show you the differnt things here.  :)

Upon looking further - I came across these little bunny sachets pictured below.  Aren't they just adorable.  They have drawstring tummies where you can open them up and put in what ever you want to hide for safe keeping or put scent beads in for some pretty smells.   LOVE IT.   You really should mozy on over to Ria's shop and see all the rest of their wonderful creations.   Links at the bottom of this post.

Ria even makes neat Japanese inspired cards.  So many great items.

Art work is created by Rie's Mother.  It's beautiful.
